Chilled soft drinks and confectionary are available in the Dinosaur Isle shop. A green picnic area is situated in front of the museum, with bench and large 'ammonite' seating. The picnic area overlooks a shallow lake which, in the spring and summer, is host to many breeding pairs of ducks, coots, moorhens and a resident pair of Mute swans.

Browns Cafe and mini Golf Course is sited next door to Dinosaur Isle. The cafe and golf course is run by Cultural & Leisure Services, part of the Isle of Wight Council; and is open seven days a week during the spring and summer.
