NEOVENATOR SALERII

One of the largest European Cretaceous predatory dinosaurs, Neovenator salerii was related to Allosaurus and Acrocanthosaurus (found in North America), and Giganotosaurus (from South America). Dinosaur Isle displays the restored holotype skeleton of Neovenator salerii (MIWG 6348) in an impressive three-dimensional display. There is also an animatronic reconstruction

This image is of a reconstructed skull, part of a full size model displayed at Dinosaur Isle which contains a mix of real fossilized bones from the type specimen and reconstructed elements.

The reconstruction is 7.5 metres long, it is one of Dinosaur Isle's prized exhibits and part of a unique dinosaur.
