Tickets and times

There is no need to book tickets to visit the museum. Tickets are available at reception when you arrive.

Please be aware that our last admission is at 3pm. If there are no visitors in the building at 3pm we will close the doors.

General opening times

You can visit us between Tuesday and Saturday all year. We are open from 10am until 4pm. Last admission is at 3pm.

We are closed on Sunday and Mondays. We are also closed on: Saturday 20 April 2024 (please see below)

Sandown Sprint

We will be closed on Saturday 20 April 2024 due to the Sandown Sprint event taking place on the roads around the museum. We will remain open during the set-up of the event from Wednesday 17 until Friday 19 April 2024 although during this time there may be diversions in place. Once through the diversions our car park will be open. On Thursday and Friday please approach the museum from the Yaverland end of the road past the Wildheart Sanctuary.

Half Term

We will be open every day (including Sunday and Monday) from Tuesday 21 May 2024 until Saturday 1 June 2024. 10am until 4pm with last admission at 3pm. 

July & August

We will be open every day (including Sunday and Monday) from Monday 1 July until Saturday 31 August 2024. 9.30am until 5pm with last admission at 4pm. Please be aware that our last admission is at 4pm. If there are no visitors in the building at 4pm we will close the doors.
