Our fossil walks are really popular, so booking is essential. All our walks are listed in the table below, choose the walk you would like to join and give us a call to book your place (01983) 404344. If you are near us you can always pop in and book at the museum shop.
All our walks are led by one of our friendly staff members, they all have years of experience of the location and leading walks. They will be able to advise you on the geology and palaeontology. You will be provided with a briefing on what to look for, and this will include a safety briefing.
There is no need to bring any tools. We promote that if you cannot pick it up leave it where it is policy. The Island is a Biosphere reserve and conservation is at the heart of what we do.
Feedback from families who have been on our walks mentioned that wearing wellies and bringing a towel is handy.

Fossil walk cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel a walk due to bad weather etc. In this event we will offer you a walk on an alternative date. If this is not acceptable we will offer a refund.
If you need to cancel a walk you have booked please let us know within two working days in advance. Subject to availability we will move you to another day/time or refund you. If you let us know within less than two working days you will forfeit your refund.
